Cake (Gâteau aux Pommes)

Ingredients

3 apples, peeled and sliced

150g sugar

150g flour

100g melted butter

3 eggs

1 packet baking powder (about 10g)

1 tsp vanilla extract

1/2 tsp cinnamon (optional)

A pinch of salt

Instructions:

1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).

2. Whisk the eggs with sugar and vanilla until light and fluffy.

3. Add the melted butter, then mix in the flour, baking powder, and salt.

4. Gently fold in the apple slices.

5. Pour the batter into a greased cake pan and bake for 30-40 minutes until golden brown.

6. Let it cool before serving. You can dust it with powdered sugar or serve it with vanilla ice cream.
